Hello there my name is Bobby Joseph. I came across this issue in about last two weeks or so, i searched Google and so many other blogs and tech site on how to fix this issue but still i saw no fix for it.
And many of the fix they were showing me were outdating. It took me 3 days to fix this issue and i did not see the fix in any site or blog.
I took my time sat down worried and tired and had bad internet service that day and my Android Studio was not working fine. For many Programmers the must horrible day is having a bad Internet and your tools are not working fine, it many lead you to sleep for me it does.
Well in so many blogs and Tech Site i saw so many instrutions which will make me temper with some settings in my Android Stuio. And we all know or let me say few people know that tempering with some settings in Android Studio is a bit risking or let me say very risking.
For those who are new to Android Studio there is no " Ctrl Z " to any Android Studio settings you temper with. So to be on the safe side don't temper with work you don't understand.
Note: " for many of you who are new in using Android Studio although the developers are working each day to make Android Studio matter, with new updates every few months you should be up and doing and monitoring what is going on in the Tech industry.
Please do not touch or temper with any settings in your Android Studio if you are a Beginner. It may fustrate you. Because it won't be that easy to find an easy fix for it. What i will advise you to do is to understand the tool you are using before tempering with anything in the tool.
That was the mistake i made i did not really understand how Android Studio works and what not to do, in that case i had so many issues and i have uninstalled and installed Android Studio up to 5 times. For you to avoid that mistake i made i advise you to understand Android Studio very well before tempering with things "

If your Android Studio is open just close it and any other Project that is opened. Now open your task manager and close any program that is not suppose to be opened
Now hold your Windows button on yah keyboard and press key " R " to open the Run Program, as soon as the Run Program has opened type in " Recent " and press enter, as seen in the image below. As soon as the Recent folder opens select all and delete
Now go back and open the Run program again and type in " %temp% ", as soon as the %temp% folder opens, select all and delete also. Note: Not everything will be deleted in the %temp% folder just ignore the once that did not delete
Go back again to the Run program and type in " prefetch ". Now select all and delete everything. Note: Not everything will be deleted in the %temp% folder just ignore the once that did not delete
Go back again to the Run Program and type in " temp ". this is totally different from %temp%. i will explain this in any of my next articles. Now also select everthing and delete also. Note: Not everything will be deleted in the %temp% folder just ignore the once that did not delete
Now go to your search button and search for "Disk Cleanup" open it select your main drive which is drive C://. Because that is where your Android Studio will be install. Now when it's scanned and opened completely. select everything and click on Ok so that the system will clean up all the junk files in your system.
Now after all this steps go Restart your System and open your Android Studio and run your build
Note: " if your hard disk space is below 40gb of space that may be the issue too. I will advise you to free up the space in your system and try the fix above again. "
